    Galbraith

I think he can influence a game better from central midfield than he does at RB and think his passing/shooting ability is wasted.

Thought Nunes looked a real handful. Very direct and looks to have some quality in the final third with his crosses. A better version of Ronald (who I thought had a decent game today)

    Galbraith

I get the feeling he wants to play in midfield. If we are looking at keeping him at RB for next season, he may look at pushing for a move elsewhere

    Stinking

Disgusting I gave up Sunday league football because of some similiar situations There’s some nasty people out there. No care at all apart from themselves

    Galbraith

It’s a shame we probably won’t get to see him much more in a more central position where I think he’s at his best. He’ll be gone at the end of the season. Crazy how he ended up in League 1

Martin had a terrible squad to work with. Yes he had Piroe, Grimes but the options off the bench were terrible Fulton, Cooper, Korey Smith, Garrick, Walsh Compare that to today’s bench and it’s miles apart

We’ll have some really good options when Idah & Widdell return as well

My experience as a supporter of this club over 30 years tells me Sheffield Wednesday will turn into prime 98 Brazil tomorrow and we’ll allow them their first goal of the year and first away win of the season. It’s the Swansea way

That’s a fair point But I would add we’ve brought in Ward & potentially Murray Campbell when Lissah could have covered both positions. All it takes is Burgess, Cabango or Galbraith to take a knock and be out for a few weeks and there’s an opportunity there for someone to come in. Lissah...

Looks like Harrison Murray Campbell coming in on loan. CB/RB Makes you wonder why we don’t just bring Lissah back - surely more beneficial to give him game time than a Chelsea youngster who has zero senior appearances to his name

Read that Watford have only lost 2 matches in the last 16 so a brilliant result that

Whose position does he take in our first 11? Looks great from those YouTube highlights. Looks a mix of Galbraith & Widell I still think we should be pushing for a right back to get Galbraith in the 8/10 position, but perhaps this signing would suggest we are looking to keep Galbraith at RB...

The January 2026 Transfer Window Thread - Now Closed!

Huw Jenkins mentioned when we were in League 1/2 that we always struggled to convince players to make the journey down here when they had options more central to London I think this may be more of a problem with loaning players - players who may be looking for the best short term solution for...

I personally would have rather recalled Bianchini than Cooper from their loans He won’t be a world beater but I think Matos style may suit Bianchini who was decent in press

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

I thought Inoussa looked a promising buy in the first 5/10 games of the season. He was having an impact from the bench and looked sharp and skillful. Hes not really kicked on at all He’s probably the only player I think has gone backwards under Matos

    New Chelsea manager is

Hull were mad to sack him He’s progressed well every season as a Manager and think he will have a great future career. He said in the past Swansea philosophy has influenced him. Would have been a good appointment after Luke Williams Not sure he’s right for Chelsea though. They are trying to...

    Form Table

Those draws against Watford, Hull & Millwall don’t look too bad looking at the current league table. I said at the time Watford & Hull both looked useful and a point in each game were good results for us

    Sheehan

Would be a good caretaker option for them until the end of the season.
  20. S

    Widdell

He’s lightweight and gets knocked off the ball too much This is something that can be worked on and like EOM has shown this season, it may take him a season or two before we see a more complete player
