Wrexham (Away) | 8pm, Friday 13th March | Live on BSkyB Digital in glorious HD

Don’t they have to give a month’s notice for the sky fixtures? Would have made a lot more sense to just put it on the Saturday night now.

    Playoff Structure Change

I wouldn’t hate a points quota - you only get into the playoffs if you finish in the top 6 and within 10 points of the team in third. If you finish miles away like Bristol City did last season then you’re out and the team you would have played gets a bye.

    Playoff Structure Change

Not a fan of this at all. A team finishing in eighth is basically mid-table and has no business being in the playoffs. The current format is a decent trade-off between keeping enough interest for more teams while still rewarding those who do better over the regular season. I also think the...

    S25/26 | MATCHDAY | Swansea City 4 Sheffield Wednesday 0 | FT | Att: 16,776 | The EFL Championship | The Swansea.com Stadium

Next ten games are noticeably tougher, with 8 of them against teams in or competing for the playoffs. If we can go into the last five within touching distance than we’ll have done great. Amazing to even be thinking about the playoffs given where we were 6 weeks ago!

    Leicester points deduction

They'll probably still do enough to stay up, but with the deduction they're now only outside the bottom 3 on goal difference.

Thought that when seeing the teamsheet. We look a lot better with one more defensive player, one box-to-box type and a decent number 10. Playing the three of them together is like having three defensive midfielers and nobody to link up with the front 3.

    Match Day Programme ,

A lot of the content is now available online and much more quickly than it can be printed, so there's not as much need for them now. Same thing as opposition profiles and team history, you can find it all online if you want it. I stopped buying them a while ago, still got a whole load going...

    European Football.

Managed to do Malmo, Ploiesti, Valencia & Naples, all fantastic trips. Was supposed to go to St. Gallen as well but we got fogged out as I'm sure lots of others did too.

    Our away form.

We've had easy games at home since Matos took over and generally hard games away, so no surprise that we've done a lot better at home than away. Our performances are better, and more enjoyable to watch, but generally we're still beating the shit teams and losing to the decent ones. Average...

    25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Hull 2 Swansea 1 | Att: 21,912 | 24/01/26 | The EFL Championship | The MKM Stadium

Ten wins this season, one against a team in the top half. The other nine all against teams below us. That’s enough to keep us in mid table so not the end of the world, but very frustrating when we can compete with and look good against playoff teams like Hull & Stoke but come away with 0 points.

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

The only caveat I’d add to that is that we’ve had a run of games against teams down the bottom. Oxford (23rd), Pompey (22nd), Blackburn (21st) and West Brom (19th). We’re definitely better under Matos and should have comfortably enough to stay away from the relegation battle, but I don’t see us...

    NFL 2025

Totally agree with pretty much all of that. Shanahan and Salah have done an amazing job of getting the niners this far, as you say without Ayiuk, Pearsall, Kittle, Warner and Bosa, as well as a host of other linebackers. I suspect Seattle will prove too strong for us as well, they've definitely...

    NFL 2025

49ers lose yet another of their star players to injury and still somehow eke out the win. Considering how depleted the defence is really incredible that they kept Philly to 19. I also can’t express how much I love watching a trick play Jauan Jennings TD pass.

Rather we had a day like that today instead of when we played them in the league last week. Disappointing to go out but we played pretty well overall and really should have finished them off in 90 mins.

    Terry Yorath RIP

Really sad news, his time here was before my time but always seemed like a top bloke, RIP. Had a quick look and looks like he made one appearance for us which was the Wolves game! Team that day was: 1. Michael Hughes 2. Christopher Harrison 3. Terence Phelan 4. David Hough 5. Nigel Stevenson...
