    Josh key

Could do with a spell on the sidelines. Seems to have regressed since he joined us. Same can be said of Ronald too. Our weakest link is the right side, both defensively and offensively.

    Burgess v Darling

I know being a Swans fan I’m going to be biased and say Burgess is better, but I genuinely think he is. He commands a bigger presence, is good with both feet and is good in the air. Yes, Darling did contribute to goals and assists, and I’m not denigrating him, but overall Burgess is a more...

    Lawrence Vigouroux

.. take a bow son. Absolutely superb today against Hull, commanding his area and coming for every ball. Best game i think that I’ve seen him play

    Football benches

They’re massive these days aren’t they? Back I the day, there was the manager, assistant, physio and one sub. Nowadays benches are huge. And what’s with these iPads and flip charts when subs are being made? Has the game become more complicated from 40 odd years ago?

    New 3rd away shirt…

….anyone else think that it’s a thing of beauty? The Gulf sponsor tops it off for me personally, as even though we were third division, some of my happiest times following the swans was back around that time. Now all we need are DP and Action retros!

    Cullen v Sheff Utd

Felt for him yesterday. Plainly obvious he’s not a 9. He’s also not the type to hold up Play and bring midfielders into the game. He struggled. Hope Sheehan realises this after his(Cullens) performance yesterday.

    Should we be concerned?

Two defeats against lower league opposition. I know there was a mix of first team and fringe players starting but today’s lineup was pretty strong. What are we lacking?

    Feel good factor..

Has it returned to the club? We seem to be more proactive in the market, new owners are also trying to build bridges with the supporters. Coupled with good performances from the team under Sheehan can we ask… Are the good times returning? Me personally, I’m cautiously optimistic for the coming...

    Ollie McBurnie

Free agent. Should we take him back?

    20 years today….

Last league match at the Vetch against Shrewsbury Town. Officially 11,500 there but looked much more The North Bank was absolutely rammed on that balmy day. Great times, and we’ve come a long way since.

    Free away travel

Great that the club are putting this on for Qpr. Maybe it’s something for them to consider for next season to all away games. I’m pretty sure Stoke City do it.

    Derby Dilemma? Not for me!

Speaking to one of the boys earlier, and upon him saying that it wouldn’t bother him if we lost tomorrow against Derby, we got into a heated argument. His thinking being that a Derby win would aid cardiffs demise to league 1! I’m of the mindset that no matter what, I’d want a swans win first and...

    Lewis O’Brien

Pound for pound(even though we haven’t bought him) a much better all round player than the charlatan we sold to Coventry. Be great if he could come back permanently next season. Who knows…

    Josh key at it again

Culpable for Burnley’s first goal making a hard enough task even harder. Maybe a bit of time on the bench will do both parties good.

    Meltdown in kerdifffff

Had a little peep on their forum/ facebook and had to have a chuckle. A lot of them think they’re doomed and going down now. Amazing to think that after their 3-0 they were harbouring play off ambitions under Riza and that we were going down. How we capitulated against that shower is mind...

    Gulf in class

Watching Leicester v Brentford tonight, I can’t get over the huge gulf in class between the championship and Premier league. Leicester and to a degree Saints last year(I remember the home game against them; we couldn’t get the ball off them at times as they passed around us for fun). Both nailed...

    Monk

Sacked by Cambridge. Cant see anyone employing him now. Blokes been stealing a living as a manager for years.

    Training

Wtf do they actually do in the week? Because on a Saturday they can’t defend for toffee, can’t attack for toffee. Do we actually have a coach specific for each area? Because if we do, their doing f@ck all to inspire the players

    Not surprised..

Whilst considered a poor window, because clearly we’re lacking depth in the squad, the lack of activity doesn’t surprise me with this club. It’s the Swansea Way! I feel totally disconnected with it and regret renewing my ticket now.

Shambles… on and off the pitch

Not only contending with the crap on the pitch, now we’re having to contend with the crap off it. The sound system was abysmal today when Kevin johns was reading the eulogies before the game. Sort it out Swansea City!
