• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Maybe We Needed Change? Grimes Vs O'Brien

Totally agree about Grimes. He always made himself available, had good technique, good at retaining the ball under pressure and moved the ball on the floor onto a white shirt, shame the last two managers never used him more effectively. LO’B is a different player who plays in a different...

    Grimes

There’s no such thing as 4-4-2. When was the last time anyone saw 2 forwards stood up top waiting for the team to win back possession and knock it up to them. The only time you’ll see it is at a game on a Sunday morning. Tactics are far more fluid and change when in or out of possession and it’s...

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Middlesbrough FC vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

That’s up to other midfield players to take advantage of the the space created to move into the attacking third. It’s not Grimes fault players aren’t thinking

    The Euro 2024 Thread

Kind of agree with you. Bellingham is obviously a top player and he seems a decent bloke but he’s turned up with a La Liga and champions league medal in his back pocket and I think he expected the team to be built around him and I suppose you can understand his logic after his first half in the...

    The Euro 2024 Thread

Foden was outstanding in the first half so much so that Koeman had to throw on another midfield player just to counteract his movement and it worked. Shame Bellingham gets all the media noise but Foden is class

Defo a pen, anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul especially with European refs, you see it all the time. Kane kicked his foot because his foot was high with studs showing, dangerous play. I thought it was obvious

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Stoke City | The EFL Championship

He absolutely ran Ivanovic, a top international player, ragged at Stamford Bridge.
