    I would be happy with a top 8 finish. Any talk of promotion ignores how strong the likes of Ipswich, Soton, Leicester, Birmingham etc are, as well as clubs that were in a similar position to us that have also massively strengthened, such as QPR.

    Think this game has converted me against Vip. This was a game for him to show what he can do and try and put himself ahead of Cullen, but he didn't lok like he could be bothered all game.

    The performance has been miles better than the corresponding fixture last season imo. If that is any indication then we are in for a great season.

    Could be wrong but Widell was out on the wing. I think our best midfield would be Eom on the left, Inoussa on the right and Franco & Galbraith in the centre with Widell ahead of them.     Ideally i'd like to see how a three of Galbraih, Franco and Widell do together. It would have been nice if we would have tested that out in pre-seaso, but Sheehan decided against it for some reason.

    He is better than what we have, but is he better than what we could get for the money he would demand? I don't think so personaly. Also, when you add in the fact that we really need to be turning over players for profit to become a sustainable club then his age becomes a majour issue.
