    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Every time I park in one of the angled parking spaces outside Killay Co-Op it seems someone driving one of those long wheelbase vans slides into the next spot down. When it's time for me to leave I can see bugger all and have to reverse out into the main road at a snail's pace.

    Saw him once at a massive venue in Manchester. Tickets were eye-wateringly dear, but I was investing in my future (if you know what I mean). He was great. Those ear worms lasted sodding months too.

    One episode to go in series one of Mr Mercedes. It took a few episodes to get into it but I've no doubt I'll continue watching the next series. It's unusual for a programme to have no obvious hero. That said, the villain is a brilliant character.

    This may very well be operator error but it's a right royal PITA. I open the mail app on my iPhone. There's a message that I forward to Mrs Bear. I then reply to the original message. But it also goes to Mrs Bear. It has happened multi times (I'm a slow learner) but what's the rationale...

    I will say this. It'd be nice if, when a player does his actual job, ie what he's paid to do, he just does it without feeling the need to start pointing at the sky or himself as if he's just cured cancer.

    A (Leeds-based) mate said he last saw him a couple of years ago, drinking alone and looking in a pretty poor state. I can't bear to imagine the pain of losing a child, and the knock-on impact on one's marriage.
