Well, quite. Tbf I’d imagine the ‘scouting/analysis’ side of it has all been completed though and it’s more a case of agreeing terms with clubs and players over the next few months based on the shortlists that have been complied for each position.

I don’t really pay any attention to non-football staff at other clubs, but we seem to go through a hell of a lot of high paid staff. Seems to be a big turnover every 12-18 months which can’t be good in terms of medium/long-term planning.
