    Reading play off final side

I’d have De Vries all day long over Vigeraux.

    I see Grimesy…

… is back to his usual self. He needs to be binned. No doubt Mrs Grimes will be on here defending the useless pr7ck.

    Matt Grimes

Cabango especially is guilty of doing this at times. Not as often as previous seasons, but it seems that when we’re under the cosh so to speak, it becomes far more noticeable. At least Dalling now has the initiative to bring the ball out himself at times, by passing Grimes.

    Matt Grimes

He was pretty much dogshite in the middle of the park yesterday. The lad who scored their second yesterday, showed Grimesy a clean pair of heels. Oh to have a midfielder of that ilk.

    Josh Key

Good player, but one level of criticism i have of him, is that he holds onto the ball for too long instead of playing it simple. Anyone else noticed this?

    Matt Grimes

Been a big critic of his. The criticism is more frustration. There’s a decent player in there. It’s like the shackles have been let off him by Luke, which is a credit to the manager. What has also helped is Cabango and Dalling are now both much better at starting attacks allowing Grimes to not...

    44 Years Ago Today - 13th December 1980 ...

Can’t be many seasons where we’ve worn black shirts at home. I’m thinking 84/85 or 85/86 and 20/21?

    Bournemouth

I’m sure we’d do that if we were in the Prem. It’s just a finance thing for us in the championship

    Away Travel Prices

Was thinking that. The fuel consumption must be crazy for the journeys involved. Aren’t there any coach companies from Swansea, Port talbot or West Wales?

    Cooper to Cardiff

His Forest side gave us a tuning twice over, they were impressive winning 4-1 down here and 5-1 in Nottingham.

    Our left hand side..

Probably the latter. You can’t have both full backs bombing on. All it takes is a little shuffle to the side of the attacking wing back by both centre backs and the other wing back.

    Pato

He’s a 1 good game in 5 type of player. That one game he could have a blinder, but the other four he’s very average to the point that he’s missing. So it’s a fat NO from me!

    Our left hand side..

Tymon is great going forward, but we’re left very exposed when an attack breaks down. A couple of Leeds goals were down to this. Surely this problem needs addressing by LW.

    WBA v Burnley

Albion, only two home goals scored all season. One against us! Makes our woes in front of goal pale in comparison

    WBA v Burnley

Two so called sides predicted to do well, but is it me or were they both very underwhelming? Not saying we’re up there with them, but I’m feeling a bit more optimistic travelling to turf moor on Sunday than I would’ve 3-4 weeks ago. Is there anyone really capable of running away with this league?

    Viktor Gyoketes

Couldn’t have foreseen his career taking a rapid upward trajectory like it has done, especially after his loan period here. What next, Fisher to be winning the golden glove after he leaves us??

    Darling and Cabango

Likewise, I’ve been critical of Ben in the past and rightly so. He’s been guilty of trying to do things he’s probably not capable of like being a ball playing centre back. Maybe previous coaches have instructed him to do that. He’s just a no nonsense solid defender who can get the better of any...

    Williams In

Surely there must be someone in the squad capable of delivering a decent dead ball into a dangerous area? Either that, or Grimes needs to stay behind after training for some extra work on his dead balls.

If there’s any criticism, then it’s Grimes and his set pieces. Get him off them, as he’s absolutely useless at beating the first man

    Cyrus Christie - Officially Signed

Two years ago he was deemed too old for the owners to pursue. What’s happened since? Has he rocked up in a DeLorean all of a sudden?
