"If we don't learn then we won't be in the game against top teams" - Williams verdict on Leeds defeat

It's when we're not in the game against average teams that boils my piss Lukey boy, it happens quite a lot.

It’s not about learning it’s about being not good enough, simple, we need to accept that and move on the mediocrity that riddles the club, otherwise we’ll always be in the clay class…learning my arse.

Sadly true. If we played them again on Saturday he’d probably pick the same team, set up the same and the players would be just as incapable of doing what he wants. The outcome would likely be pretty much the same or worse if they went full Notts County.

He’ll eventually realise he has to make the scoop fit the crap.

At least we won’t be playing teams like that every week. We’ll be back in our lightweight division soon. Millwall vs Tractor tonight might give a decent idea of Saturday’s match up.

You're the Manager, so sort it out butt, we were shocking from the first minute last night, like rabbits in the headlights in that first half, very little structure to our game if any, midfield needs serious work, can't believe he's been continuing with Fulton the way he has, Grimes hasn't hit scores above 6 either, I'd rather see an energetic midfield youngster from the Academy come in and play than watch Fulton treading water every game.

Midfield needs serious attention in the next Transfer Window, as does the Centre back position's, get the defence right then move forward.

It'll always be difficult against teams relegated from the Premiership and its going to get harder as well, as these teams are going to be able to keep most if not all of the player's they had in the Prem, much like Leicester, Southampton and Leeds have done and add to their squads with more quality, but we can do better than what we did last night and against Saints, surely?

Another soft manager who will tickle the balls of these spoilt ego driven players who think they are better than they are. Nothing will change here. Manager is shit scared of the players in case they get rid of him.

Yet jokers like you banged on about Martine's 'experiential learning' mumbo jumbo for 2 years and counting.
Ya Clown.

At least be consistent with your mumbo jumboism. It's not a good look.

Unfortunately that's very true.

For years we've rarely ever bothered to heed any attention to the opposition and change our tactics accordingly.

It wouldn't surprise me if we if we're unchanged tomorrow playing thr 4th placed side (who just won 4-0 in contrast to our 4-0 loss).

Am gonna get shouted down here, but another mauling v Ipswich then at what point is LW under pressure? 1 decent result (Hull) doesn't cut it. It's the manner of defeats that's really worrying.

What annoyed me v Leeds was that he wasn't able to organise us to keep tight for first 20 minutes bearing in mind what happened v Saints.
If same happens again today then this guys credentials need to be seriously scrutinised.
He's had a tough run of games since he's been here in fairness, today will be interesting, but if he can't change our tactic's as games are progressing its going to be tough ordeal for him going forward.

Having ideals on style of play are all well and good, but if you haven't got the personnel to carry out those ideals, you've got to change those ideals to suit what you got.

He says they need to learn, well he can learn from looking back at mistakes made by the last two incumbents, before him.

To put it crudely you can only piss with the c@@k you got!

We've been here before with you know who!

Spot on mucker and how many managers have we had to say that about. Chin wig and duff for starters.
