I undertand that there is alot that goes into decisions and some might be out of his hands but he must know if Sheehan is staying and a soft offer has been made. Otherwise he wouldn't be doing this. It wouldn't suprise me if he stays or goes at present. Let's face it, money will be the driving factor in this, irrelevant if he wants to stay. How much steel will Swansea have, will they take the leap? My feeling is no. Who knows.

Forest bought him for 10M in the Prem, he’s in his last year of contract how much do we think they’d want? 3-4M? He’s on 50K a week supposedly but remember that’s Prem wages he ain’t going to get that anywhere else would he take 25-30K here? I hope we get the deal done somehow.

On reflection that crazy numbers. That's hell of a jump down in wages. I mean, strange as this sounds, does he feel that he wants another pay day or just enjoy what he is doing and being happy. I do feel Sheehan decision will play alot in this as he has stated the coaching knows the best way he plays and it's best he's played since Huddersfield.

It's possible, maybe even probable that we could come to some sort of fee agreement with Forest. Maybe a couple of million upfront with significant performance/promotion extras.

If LoB is on the reported 50k p/w he would have to take a minimum 50% pay cut though. Although he'd be a bargain at twenty grand a week considering that's what we used to pay Captain Sideways.
