Oh be fair, how does that constitute a game of football? Man City 26 shots to Southampton 2 (none on target) Manchester city, 69 touches in Southampton box to 7 by Southampton in Man City box. People have paid a lot of money to watch that non entity of a game. That headline is taken straight from BBC text, caps included. Made me smile.
May I be the first to congratulate Southampton on their magnificent achievement.
Yet the Soton fans will go home happier…that’s footywang.Oh be fair, how does that constitute a game of football? If we ever went up again 12 points would be my first objective. Brizzle, and Cov probably wouldn’t make it. Sundo or SU will have a struggle. To be fair, when you've had a season as dismal as the one Southampton have had it's understandable that their fans would clutch at the flimsiest of straws.
Sad state of affairs. Hopefully something will happen to change that dynamic. The promoted sides need to be a lot more innovative. I don't see Leeds or Burnley doing much better than the relegated trio. Farke and Parker are decent but unimaginative managers. If we ever went up again 12 points would be my first objective.
