New EU passport & biometric entry requirements

This new system is pretty much in full swing. I have been through five European airports this year and the experience wasn’t a pleasant one each time. Turin on Tuesday night: disembark, enter the zone where there are 8 biometric machines, only three switched on, painfully slow operating system for the passport verification, photo and fingerprint step, get told to join queue A for the passport machines (why the need to check twice?), the second passport machine doesn’t read the passport, get filtered into a queue for manual immigration check, immigration officer on go-slow. The entire process from jet bridge to baggage hall took 35 mins when it used to take just five minutes. Basel a few weeks back was terrible as systems were not working. Bologna passenger flow was designed by a fucking idiot. Thank you Brexit voters. If you’re taking young children or grandchildren on holiday this summer, be prepared for some pain; Alicante on the first Saturday in August could be horrendous.
The bloke who created the system is from the Gower or Gower (because some people are tw*ts on here)

You always mention how people on here are this and that which makes me wonder why you frequent the board, clearly you don't have any time for the majority of posters on here.

Couple of friends came through malaga recently, no problem but I've heard there are longer queues , probably at weekends/peak times. Got family visiting soon, interesting to see how it goes. Can imagine summer will be more problematic

You're the biggest prick on here, you antagonise specific posters like you're some forum police officer.. if you knew who I'm related to.. you know why I can be a pr*ck, because my family members are slated almost daily on here

Didn't know you were related to Ronald.

I have made a provisional list:
The Trumps
Vladimir Putin
Jay Fulton (odds lengthening by the game)
Nigel Farage
Andy Fisher
Josh Key (see Jay Fulton))
The Starmers
Anyone from the blue side of Glasgow

It’s now a process of elimination.

Some airports will be slicker than others, both in terms of passenger flow and the IT tech. Bologna is a real dogs dinner where you have to go up two flights of stairs into a room and then come back down and feed into one of the queues. The passengers obviously had to carry whatever they had on them up and down these stairs (cases, bags, babies).

I'm not allowed to respond, say or tell anyone for security reasons
