Southampton sack Still

IMG-2440.jpg
I was watching the coverage on Sky Sports News and I thought it said Southampton sack Will Smith! 😲

He’s not still any more
And everyone thought he was the next big thing and how all future managers will be playing Football Manager to get into coaching. I love video games, but I have no plans to announce I have degree in killing zombies 😂😂🎮🎮

I think it’s generally a good thing that we’ve moved on from ‘you have to have played the game at the top level to be a manager’ but what seems to be lost on owners/CEOs is that man management is still such an important part.

They used to get star struck by people’s playing careers, now they’re star struck by power point presentations!

I would also like to add. I have a bad temper and shout at my TV when I lose when playing a video game.

That means I should be hired by any football club 😂😂😂.

Joking aside, good points you have made. I just never understood the love he got when he joined and could see this one coming a mile.

Issue Southampton have now, such players like Nathan Wood was seen verbally shouting back at fans. Is there too much divide and bigger issues behind the scenes? I still think they will be around 8 position at end of season or there about.

Will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Big ask to get them to the playoffs, which I assume would still be the new managers target, but I do think they’ll end up closer to the top 6 than the bottom 3.

Our game against them may have had a huge impact on both clubs. If they had won by 3 or 4 like they deserved, they may have kicked on but it seems they went backwards after that. We snuck a draw and the pressure on Sheehan dropped a little and has allowed us to regather and stabilise a little bit in the last two weeks.

Like some Charlton fans said about us, I would say Southampton have been by far the best side we have faced in the league this year.

RM linked with Norwich.. you can just see that happening when Manning is sacked and the prodigal son returns
