I just saw this on the Swansea City DSA Facebook page
It's special education week, autism, ADHD, dyslexia... and the month of awareness for all these difficulties.
In honor of all the children who struggle everyday to succeed and their parents who do whatever they can to help them daily. 👊👊🫶🏻
(Just copy and paste. )💙💙🙏 🦋
Raise awareness make life easier for our kids 👌👌🧡💙🧩🫶✊🏽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Indeed, well said.
My wife was a teacher of blind and visually impaired children and was responsible in Swansea for babies from birth/diagnosis, helping parents to cope and assessment of the best educational placement going forward.
She had children who were severely damaged and vision issues were only one of a myriad of problems, right through to blind and visually impaired children who were successful at A level and went on to higher education.

As a parent of a child with ASD then support is absolutely vital from schools, teachers and LSAs in conjunction with parents. I am ever thankful for the team at Calday Grammar in Wirral who took my son through to 'A' level success and just completing year 2 at UWE.
