I think a formation change is needed (Doubt we''ll get one) I think Clements diamond would suit us well now,Downes holding Grimes and Fulton in the CM and Pato at the tip.Oba and Piroe up top,Bidwell Bennett Williams/Cabango or a new CB and Laird.Martin Should know it well Paul Lambert set up Norwich to play it and they nearly always used to beat us.Fricking Grant holt.

I can see your thinking on this but I think 2 up top is probably a bit too gung ho as a starting formation so I'd put Ntcham at the tip as he's best in the space between their defensive and midfield lines and let Pato play off Piroe as more of a floating 2nd striker than a midfield because the boy can certainly finish and he can use his tricks and flicks in their half instead of in ours. Use Oba as a sub against tiring defenders until such time as he looks like he deserves a start.

Your formation and set up has morphed so far away from Martinball, it requires another manager to implement.
