It's been hit and miss for a few weeks but the last few days I get this message using Iphone.

It finds the forum using favourites or Google but anything after that I get the error.

No problem on tablet or P.C.

I have cleared down and tried a few times but still the same issue

Anyone else having the same problem, as from memory there was an issue a few weeks back.

Thanks

Try this, delete browsing history from safari, then go to settings on i phone, hit general, then i phone storage, then click safari, then website data, find planet swans, then left swipe and delete, then do a hard reset on iphone, dependant on model, it's just a power and volume hold..

I don't suffer from the problem in question, but I think that should work.

Yes thanks.

I did that 3 times last night before it worked

Who? Me? Excom, Denia.

Sorry I meant that to everyone. I had thought it may have been unique to a particular provider but since I am on VM it seems unlikely

Take a read of this - most 400 errors tend to be related to the device viewing and just need some housekeeping

Must have taken you a long time to type all that ;)

Interesting article, it certainly points to device related cache problems, : Another way to examine if the origin of the error is your browser cache is to test accessing the site from your browser Incognito/Private window mode. Those modes don’t save cache or cookies, and if you are able to open the requested page, it means that your browser cache is the culprit.:, Judging by what pegojack wrote about a quick fix is to open in incognito mode and it works. That must be the culprit, yet if people are clearing cache properly, how is it still carrying on? That's the puzzlement.

The exact same way? Not just cleaning history from safari? Hmm, I'm stumped then, only other thing I would say is do that, and also turn off router, wait a few mins, put router back on, then I phone.

I've been getting the 400-Bad Request page on my tablet just a few times in the last couple of days but going back a page then forward again seems to clear it for some reason although I know of no logical reason why that should. Had the problem big time and seemingly permanently on my laptop a couple of months ago and PM'd Phil about it who gave me instructions on how the clear it which worked first time. These recent occasional appearances on my tablet are something new though.

The proliferation of ads, as mentioned by ECB, is also going nuts making it difficult to read some of the content.

Has this changed recently? (the ads bit)

The problem is more on my tablet and may be because of the smaller screen. I'll have a look after the match and get back to you.

The 3rd time I also turned my phone off and left it for about 10 mins.

Seems fine now
