Some good songs there.

I was reading through that list with a sense of alarm and wondering why there are so many songs & artists there that I didn't recognise so I did myself some digging and it would appear that that is not actually the offical UK singles chart for that week. Not sure exactly what it is or how it was compiled but this is the offical chart and I am relieved to say that I remember almost all of them

Phew, snap. Thought I'd gone senile with the number of What? and Who? questions.

Edit...the song (all his songs) and the bloke used to make me heave, but now even the title makes makes me want to hurl...Ooh Wacka Doo Wacka Day FFS.

In December that year (1972) I saw Led Zeppelin at the Capitol and in March the following year Black Sabbath at the same venue.

I wouldn’t have considered going to see T Rex at the time.
