About 10 doors down from my place. My back garden had an Anderson shelter converted into a shed until not too long back, but the previous owner tore it down for some reason. Madness really, it was a part of history

That's harrowing. I wasnt sure if at first they all somehow survived the blast but then she says they found half of her fathers body two weeks later up in the rafters of the house and had to have a second funeral. Bloody hell.

My wife’s Mum wasn’t living there at this time, but that day she lost her Mum and Dad, a sister and a niece. Mary, another sister, who is the lady in the film, was the only survivor from the house.
