Gotta have some balls to rock those outfits, fair play.🤭

I can imagine all the morons clamouring to see them 'live'

Probably paying bucket loads of money to see cartoons mime to their songs

"but there's a live band!!!" - mugs

In the flesh I'd say brilliant. This CGI nonsense is not for me.
Using this technique then you could have Elvis Presley back

Quite right, Dicky. it's a cynical marketing ploy to pretend they're still in their twenties when they're clearly not. Why not have the balls to go out on stage with wrinkles, paunches, zimmer frames, hearing aids, whatever else and say "We're OAPs and we're not ashamed of it, we can still sing, so suck it up or feck off!"

Mind you, I wouldn't cross the road to watch ABBA, 1970s or 2020s.

Gotta be said, I love ABBA and the two new songs are superb. Wouldn’t go to see the hologram show mind but each to their own.

Muso snobs can fuck right off. 👍

Fair enough.

I've lately discovered the joy of streaming (or paying for and downloading) music (yes, I know, welcome to the 2020s) and it's taken me back to my youth, making up cassette tapes with your favourite ttracks for the car, only now it's making up an SD card. I've just added Catatonia - Road Rage and Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London. Feckin brill!

Catalonia’s International Velvet is a superb album. I haven’t listened to that for years but I will tomorrow now.

Warren Zevon and Werewolves of London - that takes me back to a trip to the States back in the 80’s when that was more or less on constant play on a juke box at a dive of a bar we used to frequent in Florida. Epic days.
