Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
I posted some quite scathing comments about Adele earlier in this thread which I thought were maybe a bit harsh so when I saw this 'Audience With' thing was on, I thought, OK, I've disliked pretty much everything I'd heard by her to date but just to be fair, thought I'd give it a go to see what she was like in a live environment to see if there was something there and what the fuss was all about. To be honest, my expectations were not very high but to my surprise, I found it a far more dispiriting and disappointing experience than even I was expecting. When she started the second song, I thought she'd decided to do the first one again. I persisted until about half way through but was finding the whole thing so one dimensional, I just gave up tbh. My initial impression from what I'd previously heard was that I didn't think much of her voice but having watched that, at least I now know that I REALLY do not like her voice, I find her songs very one dimensional and she's an pretty uninspiring performer. I decided to watch this woman sing on YouTube instead, Olivia Sparnnen, before I see her live this coming Sunday
