Our quest for automatic appears to have taken a down turn. Watford 2-0 up after 15 minutes.

It was in our own hands and we f*cked it harder than Neil Harris f*cked Cardiff City. Oh well.

Automatic was lost a few games ago, its a fight for/through the play offs now

I’ve been far more worried about the play offs than top two since watching the horror show last Friday night at Brum

This season is reminding of our first season in the top flight in the Toshack era. Top of the league towards the latter stages of the season then losing a number of games to end up 6th.

I think it's down we should be looking now, a defeat for Reading helps our play off push. After the unmitigated disaster of last weekend not being the playoff contender Bournemouth may catch up with is now the priority.

I remember going to St Andrews then too and we were awful. Ian Walsh put us level and then we just gave it away. It was Eric Gates that really did us in though at home to Ipswich. I think we’ll make the play offs...we can’t be as bad continuously surely, but he needs to find a way to get the players to relax and play. They look as tight as springs and as scared as a whipped dog.

Lost the last 4 games and it’s 4 from a possible 18 points, 23rd in the league on current form. The club below is Blackburn who the Swans played 6 games ago. Tell us all we need to know. Watford are well clear, it’s downwards the players and Cooper need to be looking at. Bournemouth are 4 points behind in 7th and play Coventry who they should beat, Swansea have Millwall who are in good form in London. Good job Watford are winning.

And when Monk sabotaged our playoff hopes under Sousa. 10 points from final 11 games.
I’m glad we didn’t get into the play-offs with Paulo, as he did not deserve to be the one to take us to the Premiership.' G Monk.

I’m no Monk fan, but that wasn’t what he said was it?

Might not be word for word, but from memory it wasn't far off.

I read his book...yeah, I know...and I think it was more like ‘we weren’t ready as a team for the premier league..’

But he was a selfish scumbag and I don’t think he ever forgave Sousa for telling him to get away from the ref against Crystal Palace.

It's not over, yet.. Considering we have a game in hand and have to play Watford on the last day, it's a potential 4 point gap at the moment

Watford may take their eye off the ball, they went on a run just as soon as we finished one, and things can turn around quickly..

In addition the next two for them are against Luton and Norwich

Luton is a tasty derby game for them, while Norwich will want to seal the title.
