There was someone on LBC just now who said that more people had been killed by American police in the last month than by British police in the last 20 years. I'm guessing that is wrong, but are there any statistics to check this?

This is what I said before during the BLM thing.

The Police in the US are much quicker to act first to protect themselves simply because of the number of guns in circulation and the high expectancy of being shot at. They use excessive force to protect themselves.

Due to this people die.

In the region of 150 Police Officers are killed in the line of duty in the US every year, many of them shot dead.
You don’t hear much about it on the news though.
