• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Are you surprised?

Well yes, yes I am, if some of Argentinian support disrespect the minutes silence they should have remembered where they were at that particular moment, personally, in my opinion, they would have been lucky not to have lost thier teeth 👍

What I heard was cries of Wayuls Wayuls from pissed up pricks.

Not saying there was no Argentine stuff, but it didn’t come over on my feed.

I was there and I only heard Welsh people disrespectful of the minute's silence.

This. Loads of pissed up morons coming in late from the concourse and the only voices I heard were Welsh ones.
Imbeciles.

I was there today. All I could hear was idiotic shouting from Welsh fans during the minute’s silence. Absolute clowns.

Fair enough, I don't disagree. My point was more to do with what happens when England play Argentina at football when there will always be a very small group of England fans, probably none of who would have even been alive in 1982, making jibes and/or singing songs about the Falklands, The Belgrano, etc, and Argentina will probably have a similar mindless minority, hence I wouldn't have been surprised.
