The prem definitely wouldn't be better if you take some of the best teams in Europe out of it. It may be more competitive, but that will just be the next richest clubs who would be at it.

Those at the top are able to do essentially what they like . Any player found to be a dud can be simply fapped out as they can cover the cost of it.

There is now a chasm between the Manchester clubs ,Arse Spurs and Liverpool plc and the rest.
Aston Villa ,massive club and the others around Europa league area are nowhere near them in terms of clout ,so I take your point,if they did go ,the likes of Villa would be that far ahead of the rest .
