• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Two down. The softest of wickets for a guy bowling his second ball in test match cricket.

Root in with just 12 on the board. This time tomorrow we will be following on

Lightening and rain. Maybe there is a God after all? Be gutted if he turned out to be English tbh.

God is the quiet Welsh bit of the England and Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Cricket Board.

Gonna throw this one out there. I think, at some point, Kiran Carlson will play for England. Bold statement I know but I’ve never been one to shy away

Maybe, but only if he leaves Glamorgan.

After Root and Malan had the audacity to boss the opening session we appear to have settled back into the normal way of doing things. 160-odd for five.

Not sure it’s going to be easy to get 20 wickets on this track

You might want to rethink that statement. It may be a flat pitch but if you haven’t got the mental approach right then it means nothing.

I’m more than a little surprised that Australia have not enforced the follow on. That was an ideal opportunity to show aggression and get at Burns and co under the lights.

Just got back in now, can’t believe the English collapsed like that again.

Also can’t believe they didn’t enforce follow on.

You would expect Bangladesh or Afghanistan to put up more resistance than this.

Tire and demoralise them in the field first (if they can be demoralised further), then go at them rested with the pink ball and watch them fold like a deckchair.

There is a risk that they could bat it out, but this is Engo, and it’s better than maybe facing 150 or 200 on the last day if they did somehow get it together on a good track.

More I see of em in tests , more obvious its becoming there seems little interest in the players. Its either thers more money to be made in other formats or they simply not good enough.
