• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Owners who are never here, senior management who are powerless to make decisions, a supporters trust most people haven’t got the time of day for, players who don’t want to be here, and I’d now say it’s safe to say a manager who will be actively looking to get out at earliest opportunity.

I knew things weren’t perfect, but I didn’t think it was this bad, we are sinking fast.

I think I've made it fairly obvious I'm not the manager's biggest fan for some time.

But now I think he's been tucked up and it's an absolute shambles from top to bottom. It's broken.

If only anyone could have predicted that these owners were not people to do cosy deals with eh.

Doubtless the Trust will put out a supportive message about how difficult it all was.

Season ticket sales may be a shock to them…

It'll get toxic Saturday should we go 1 down.

But that's it tho, it wont and hardly ever has.
No matter the discontent shown on forums etc, it never manifests itself on matchday. A lethargy and air of acceptance is constant down there.
And the fckers will bombard us all with e mails to renew season tickets asap. They are so distant from us its nothing short of disgraceful.

The PR from the club will be

We had so many targets, which slowly went away.

We thought we had our man but again taken away at the last minute, giving us no chance to do other business

He’s doing pretty well considering what he’s got to work with. When it clicks it’s great to watch. It’s individual errors that are letting him down.

Much like Potter and Cooper did well with their lot. None of these are bad managers (not that Russ is in the same class as Potter/Coops), but you can’t make a silk purse and all that…

And yet, we’ve had the whole of January to sort things out. So fckin frustrating.
