• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We shouldn’t be talking about this because being gay shouldn’t be an issue in our society and people should just be accepted for who they are regardless of their sexuality - sadly there are too many bigots out there and I dare say a few of the scumbags will try to give this young man a hard time. Good luck and best wishes young Jack.

Well done fella, good luck to you,....but.
Knowing fans as we do, he'll get slaughtered.
Sad but true.

What a fantastic positive young man, this is going to change attitudes completely, as far as he is concerned he has already said fans can chant what they want

"Of course I am aware that there will be a reaction to this and some of it will be homophobic, maybe in a stadium and on social media," Daniels added.

"It's an easy thing for people to target. The way I see it is that I am playing football and they are shouting stuff at me, but they are paying to watch me play football and I am living my life and making money from it. So shout what you want, it's not going to make a difference."

Sad to see this is still an issue in 2022 and a bit wierd.... Well done young man for being a pioneer in football and coming out not that you should have to come out.

It’s not surprising it’s still an issue when you see the despicable homophobia on other swans forums. 🤮

Surely not? :?

Fact he's the first since Justin Fashanu speaks volumes really doesn't it. Maybe it can finally stop being an issue now.

It's like racism, it'll never really go away unfortunately.

How can anyone deny the dangers that LGBT individuals face?
