sadly many years ago a couple of kids drowned in there, as with most res the water is very cold.
The other Res, past Goytre is just as amazing, and probably a quieter walk, a deer nearly gave me a heart attack there when I was out running,,,,,,years ago, he came out of the trees onto the forestry road just in front of me!

Ahh truly awful, so sad.

I remember getting chased by a heard of cows whilst running through some fields on a run years ago by a local farm, I'm convinced if I hadn't hurdled a barbed wire fence, cutting my knee open in the process, I'd have come to serious harm

We went over to it one summers afternoon on a raft with a load cans and weed and Dai Beer f*cked off with the raft.
We woke up on there the following morning. :lol:

Was swimming there once and had a snake go past in front of me, that was the last !!!! spent a night sleeping in the old farm house with A Perks and boys after being washed out camping, spooky!!! woke up surrounded by a herd of cows.
