Can anyone recommend any decent campsites in West Wales? Ideally close to Gower but not bothered about the location as we’ll have cars to get around as long as there’s nice scenery.

Going with a small group of adults and won’t need any special facilities.

TIA

I can recommend one further west- Dewslake Farm in Lamphey, but that's much further west than you want I guess

There’s one in the Tenby area where you can have sex all day with everyone.

I believe , Bank Farm in Horton is opening soon

There's one in Gowerton on the old marsh road that would be a good base.

There's hardly any availability during the whole of August anywhere.

Spent many a great holiday there, down the bottom of course, don't want to be mixing with that riff raff. A walk to Port Eynon for rissole and chips and then a 99 with chopped nuts and raspberry sauce from the ice cream van who came around the site at 7pm. Some of the best holidays ever, kids preferred there to Disney.

Do you "camp" a lot Benny?

You come across as someone who "camps" on a regular basis 👀

Thanks for the correction 👍🏻

Cheers for the recommendations all. Will check them out and see if I can find a space. Only need space for one pitch so hopefully we can sneak in somewhere.
