Outspoken about the situation back home.
Might be a good idea for him not to return home. 🤔

Well done to him, speaking out against the muslim fascist women and children murdering regime that runs his country. I hope political asylum is not an issue for him in any country he chooses, if he wants it.

Here's what he's up against.

"Everything you need to know about human rights in Iran - Amnesty International Amnesty International" https://www.amnesty.org/en/location/middle-east-and-north-africa/iran/report-iran/

Basically a shitshower of a "World Cup"

Thanks Sepp Twatter 👍

No time for Blatter at all, but if you get the chance, watch FIFA Uncovered on Netflix. One of the FIFA executive committee members claimed that Blatter told him not to vote for Qatar to have the world cup.

We all know that FIFA was / is corrupt, but watch that it's a farce.

All the Iranian team refused to sing their anthem in protest at their government. Very brave.

That makes for horror reading.
Knew it was grim, but not to that standard.

Surprised really as it's an oil rich country, that Uncle Sam hasn't gone for an invasion on dubious grounds.
Or even on humanitarian grounds.
Or is there some double dealing going on?
Or am I far too cynical?

What can a player on a soccer team say that's not true? He makes a direct statement about the situation in his homeland and always speaks openly about it, but soccer is part of the political game. I won't even mention the white flags given to individual athletes of one country. Well, it's good that the Iranian players didn't get sanctions and harsh comments from the media. It's a pity he has to go to his home country, but I doubt it. I don't understand what Qatar has to do with Iran, what friendship are we talking about, but they think the media has a strong weapon in the political and sports coverage sense. It's a shame Iran is silent about a lot of things, but the players know a lot about what's going on there while they're not there. I would consider ข่าวกีฬา news as truth

World cups in Russia/Qutar...fifa dont give 2 fcks who they take money off.
Expect North Korea to enter the fray sometime soon.
