2010: reach play off final after years of trying. Lose to Blackpool.
2011: pain in the ass rivals down the M4 win said play off final to reach the PL, becoming the first Welsh club to do so. They stay there 7 years.
2012: reach League Cup final and lose on pens.
2013: pain in the ass rivals win same final 5-0 to win their first major trophy.
2013/14: finally reach the PL after years of trying, but are effectively relegated by getting thumped 3-0 at home of pain in the ass rivals.
2018/19: brief enjoyment of waving at that lot up the road as you pass them on your way back up to the PL, but once again you shit the bed when you get there, not even threatening 40 points. Down you come.
2019 onwards: both teams become average mid/lower table second tier clubs, but, despite you continuing to run a top 10 wage bill they consistently manage to beat you more often than you do them, culminating in 2022's first ever South Wales derby double, secured on your ground. Which they then repeat a year later. On your ground, again.
2025: get relegated to League One.
It's gone 'swimmingly' for them, hasn't it?
