We tried him on loan by the looks, valuation couldn't be met and he stays at Leeds.

Don't really know what to make of this one or what it says for our transfer plans/ attempts to bring in a wing back.

The seasons already started and on the one hand it's great we're looking at players of his profile.

On the other, knowing how he performed last season in this division (and for who) going to Leeds who we've got a bit of history with over transfers (Dan James, Sam Greenwood) and either lowballing them or not expecting to have offer something decent seems naïve.

Or maybe it's just paper agent talk, maybe we thought it was worth a punt and we move onto the next target, who knows.

I think it was obvious we were going to try our luck with him, we did with Giles when he performed there and the Americans pulled that one last minute.

Shame, on both counts, as both players are perfect for how we play.

and that's why I can't see there being any chance of us getting Drameh. When he deal is a deal, it's done, obviously in this case the player pulled plug so it isn't Radrizzani's fault but he still obviously has sympathy with Chelsea.

I can't see them doing business with us, only chance is if Piroe is part of the deal. Leeds supporting pal of mine reckons no chance though as they are going big for a striker, they won't risk on a player who at present is only a one season success at a lower level.

** Just to clarify, I still agree with what Jenkins did, he had to pull the plug. Americans didn't have a clue what they were doing.

I think this lad will be with us come deadline day.

Let’s hope so Risc, I can’t handle the deadline day drama.

Oooofff what makes you say that Risc?

Just a gut feeling, he’s in last year of his contract, we’ve tried for loan, we are desperate for RWB, Leeds have missed out their main target for striker and need a back up for Bamford, we are desperate to cash in on our striker to bring reinforcements but not in a great place in terms of bargaining position. It works for both parties.

We’ll see.
