Colin’s playing career took him to the top-flight of English football for the likes of Nottingham Forest and Arsenal, before a move to Hereford United came in 1971, where he joined the Bulls as player-manager....

Correction, just looked it up, he was manager of Scarborough when Jimmy Glass scored for Carlisle in injury time to keep them up sending Scarborough down after their game had ended and their fans were in the pitch celebrating staying up. Like I said, it was epic but didn’t work out for Colin that day.

Always felt he did a good job here ,and came across as a real enthusiast who fitted in with the club,its history and the fans.It seemed a shame when he didn't stay.
