Getting a bit ratty.

As you said a few weeks back Phil, he’s lost his main ally in Birch, be interesting to see how his relationship with new guy is.

Despite wha people on here think of Cooper (including me at times) he won’t he short of offers from clubs at this level considering how many loans he has managed to get through door and be a success.

Did anyone learn anything from this press conference? ( Apart from Garrick may/may not be injured. )
Journalists seem to be very easy on our manager.

We've learned over a very long period of time that journalists in this part of the country are very easy on most things and ask generally crap questions (like "have you had a Joes ice cream yet" to new players)

It is one of the reasons why the likes of Lewis and McClure got a much easier ride when they were here. Why they did next to no real digging on Petty during his time and have never pressed the buttons at all on the way the sale of the club was conducted back in 2016. When there are statements out there talking about people failing their fiduciary duties then questioning should have happened.

Let's not forget that Kaplan and Levien paid for Wales Online to visit them in the states so they could dictate the agenda.

We learned that Cooper has some balls and has got to the point where he felt the need to break the party line and make clear he’s not getting the players he wants. Good on him. It’ll make f’all impression with our owners of course. We’ll see from this where the new Birch stands (on the owners side obviously) and how he now steers this process through to the close of the transfer window.

As said above (and I’m no massive fan of Cooper) he’ll get another job no problem. He’ll be fine.

Never knew that. Sickening.

Yeh I thought that too, felt like he was nervous we would exit further first team players - presume that’s any/all of Ayew, Grimes or Rodon - for financial reasons & then not replace plus add in the CB & CF he’s been hinting about since the presser before the Newport match.

Think he felt ok with Birch holding the purse strings but less so now.
