• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

This post is not for or against Mr Cooper but on paper or for someone that hasn’t seen us play what he’s achieved in his first two seasons in management is exceptional and you have to wonder if that’s all the yanks are interested in because they don’t appear to be interested in much else.

They’ll be interested in compo, Darr.

Win win I hope.

I really want to like the guy but he makes it hard
Too much information there. He's ok as a persons, but a bit meh as a coach. Contacts drying up, no plan B (or A come to think), easy to work out. The future's bright eh.

Fair point.

4.5M compo for Cooper and his staff if clubs want him according to Nixon.

Apparently meeting with Winter on Wednesday to discuss the future plans, incoming new contract announcement.

While I can see why the club would offer a contract extension from a results point of view, I cannot fathom why Cooper would accept. The club is highly unlikely to do better next season given that resources will be quite a lot lower, so he isn't going to improve his reputation by staying here long term. And of course as a fan I cannot stomach more than another year of Cooperball.
