• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Coventry have opened up a seating block what is normally in the away end for their match v Sheffield United because United haven’t sold their allocation. So they will probably do the same with us if we don’t sell a certain amount. They have a huge demand at the moment for obvious reasons. They have warned fans purchasing tickets in that section to behave themselves because they will be quite close to the now smaller away section. Coventry fans will be in Block 9. That is usually an away block.

I understand why they want Boxing Day to be a top category game but we really should have a capped price for away fans. I’m sure when we were in the Prem they were £30 max for a few season between clubs that agreed to it. £45 is taking the piss.

Well on the doorstep for us, and seriously thinking of not going, as not going to be taken for a mug.
The cost for the 3 of us would be near enough the same as coming down to a home game including the fuel.
My advice is not to go and watch us get spectacularly rogered. Save the cash for when we plan the 5th bottom team. That's our next win, nailed on.

Having some bathroom work done and one of the fitters is a big Coventry fan and he says even Coventry fans think it's a rip off not just for away fans but home as well.
He thinks that they have around 26,000 season ticket holders

Never ceases to amaze me why we give behind the goals to visiting fans, particularly when there's only a small amount of them. In my opinion the club should be looking to ( as a matter of urgency) get them in a corner in time for next season.

I don't think there enough room in the corner for Premier fans ;)
