• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I'll have this get up pretty early tomorrow if I fancy watching live cricket. Replays from 7am I imagine.

Glad the follow on was avoided - Kohli doesn't need to take any risks, and will probably set a 400+ target. So, we'll get a full day's play tomorrow hopefully!

I genuinely think there was more chance of a miracle by following on and India batting fourth than narrowly avoiding it and England batting fourth.

I don't think Kohli ever had it in mind to enforce the follow on, there's no need with the time left. England could learn a lot in the way India are so positive in opening their innings on a sh1te wicket. Taking advantage of the new ball and not waiting for the effect of the roller to wear off.

I'm glad to see that Foakes has once again shown he's a class wicket keeper, and England's best - and that's not a slight against Buttler.

With pitches prepared like this, it would save it us all a lot of time if they gave the Test Match to whoever wins the toss?

Looks like this match has turned into a commercial exercise - India way ahead and could have declared ages ago, just allowing Ashwin 100 and a full gate tomorrow?

Nah, England will knock this run chase off with ease - India needed 500 to be secure

I'm off for a lie down!

A bit early to be on the lash Phil! On the other hand...

Root to make 200 and Stokes 150 England win by 1 wicket with Leach surviving at the end.
I'll get my coat.

Joe Root looks a world class spinner here, I’m a little worried how Ashwin will perform. 😳

I was thinking more about Ashwin’s bowling, maybe he’s exhausted now. 🙄

It'll be interesting how the BCCI views this 50% fans return trial, which is also planned for the remaining tests? Social distancing is out of the window, and India haven't exactly managed Covid very well as it is. The ECB also has a responsibility, given that they are forming 50% of the entertainment - well theoretically anyway!

I'm amazed there hasn't been a hue and cry tbh, especially as the whole thing is being viewed by millions.

I thought this, when the ball gets chucked back by the crowd, don't see any steps to clean it before players handle it.

There was a big six this morning, and the (Indian) commentator said there would be a slight delay while the ball was "disinfected". Whether it actually was is another thing - I didn't notice it. Oops, Burns out!

It’s a “Labour of Love”.
