All kicking off in the local FB groups, the debate seems to be is it SCC fault or the weather.

Seen loads of animals around today.

2 lions
2 tigers
2 llamas
2 elephant

And a fucking big boat.1000003361.jpg

That can’t be just due to rain, there must be a drain blockage somewhere. I know it pissed down this afternoon but it wasn’t anything particularly unusual.
It certainly points to that, but I think there a few other issues going on in that immediate area, you have the sinkhole at the Cwmfelin Club, and IIRC wasn’t there a previous issue on Heol Y Gors, just as you come off the roundabout, traffic lights were there for ages(may still be there)? something to do with a collapsed culvert?

I think Welsh Water rather than the Council have to answer a few questions
Welsh water are reducing their staff by 500 apparently if they can't cope with these problems now how will the cope after that, never mind though the CEO will still get his exorbitant salary and his massive annual bonus.

New guy from Australia taking over next month I think… Welcome to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 😅

Just read a post by Peter Black the local councillor for the Cwmbrwla area, and he’s saying the flooding issue, is down to the collapsed culvert on heol y gors.
