• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He's an immature brat and it's all gone to his head, the blood literally.

The honeymood period is certainly over in terms of being the crowd darling.
Yep, he’s gone way down my list, of sports people I like after this rant! I only really watch the darts, PDC Final.

I can’t see him winning this at all, from this little rant he’s just so worked up, and negatively worked up.

Lot of Germans in the crowd apparently, nein love lost for one another after his comments earlier in the year

17 180s in that game mind, he is a cheat code but if you can catch him in the first set and get in front then he can start to lose his bottle

Oh right, I didn’t know about any love lost between him and Germans. I will have to google that now, what happened. I did notice a few times, he was directing his celebration, a different way.

He's played there a couple of times this year and they've been hostile to him every time, he threw his toys out of the pram and boycotted a couple of events there.

He was particularly upset because he got heckled quite badly at the World Cup, while representing England playing against Germany..

Whistling and booing is still frowned upon at many dart events, you don't generally see it even on a typical night at Ally Pally

Thank you, Yes Google just told me the same. 👍

Hopefully he can rise above it, but he looks a tad too much worked up for my liking, not knocking him, when I was his age, I was most probably lying in a pool of my own vomit somewhere.

He shouldnt be anywhere near it, live rankings have him 13th

My choices for PL

Top 4 - Littler, Humphries, MVG, Clayton (if he wins R4 game) or Bunting

Next 4 - Van Veen, Rock, Noppert, Anderson (after a good championship run)
Clayton will be provisionally 4th if he wins today, but he has Van Veen and Rock breathing down his neck. If they go further than him in the tournament in the other half of the draw, they'll leapfrog him.

Best thing he can do is concentrate on beating Harryson today, then bust a gut to beat Searle to get to the semis, then he'll have reached the semis in both the Worlds and Matchplay. In recent years, the PDC have put players in the Premier League off the back of that. Fingers crossed for him.

You're right, I didnt realise how the improved prize pool at the WC skews everything

Basically if you get to the semi final then you're going to be ranked in the top 4 regardless

The really insane thing is that there is even a chance MvG could lose top 4 status, if he loses to Anderson later on today and Clayton, Van Veen and Rock plod on to the semis or beyond. It is incredibly tight for ranking points, and the players left in the tournament will know this. Even Woodhouse, currently down in 21st, could technically get top 3 just by reaching the final.

It is going to make things very nerve wracking!

This is a proper scrap, Clayton 2-1 down and needs to raise his scoring

This guy is a menace on the doubles

Fair play, I dont know how he did it playing so poorly but he has done it. His worst game this year probably

He needs to forget it quickly, Ryan Searle up next
