It was getting a bit hairy in the end, but just looked at the stats now, and it finished on 25. The only reason I went for low 180s because of the odds, it was all odds on, for even like 42 180s, the odds I got on the under 34 180s were practically the same as they were offering for a 9 darter.

Yes, he described it as his worst ever come off from a bike. That’s some feat considering the mileage that he’s done through the course of his career.

I like that van veen, very gracious in defeat

Hopefully next year, he will give Luke a bit more of a test. Great darts though. I enjoyed(even though van veen didn’t scrape another set to make it 7-2 which was 5-1)

Littler is just too good at the moment, the level of competition is brilliant but just he's on another level. He holds the majority of all the major tournaments right now, the others are just feeding off scraps. Van Veen averaged over 100 last night but still got his ass handed to him. Scary.

I predict 2026 will follow a similar pattern unless Littler gets bored, or distracted by something or other.
