I agree with all that's been written, me and Dazzer have had several conversations over Amy's cruel and sad condition, he has my support and best wishes.

Thank you my friend we’ve had some nice conversations and you know it as much as anyone.
You’re a very nice man.

Now f*ck off. 🤣

That's the spirit

Very sorry to hear of Amy’s condition Darran thoughts and prayers with you all.

I can only echo what has been said by others Darran.

Must be so painful to see knowing that there is nothing you can do.

I’m sure she knows she is loved by her family whatever else she may not be able to remember and I hope she knows people here pass on our love and best wishes. The photos she has posted over the years a legendary and her beaming smile always lifted my spirit.

Thank you pal and everyone else of course.
Your second sentence there is spot on.
The experts/scientists/geneticists believe that Amy is the the oldest any person has EVER reached with this syndrome.
The experts/scientists/geneticists now want to know why and I truly believe that that is quite simply down to my wife being the most incredible fanatical mother.
We have recently been asked to fly out all expenses paid to the massive research centre NIH in Washington but at the moment it is virtually impossible so we are liaising with Guys and St Thomas’ in London who are then liaising with Washington.
Amy was 38 last May and if she sees 40 it will be nothing short of a miracle and there’s nothing ANYONE can do about it.

Just seen this thread Dar.

So sad and my thoughts like everyone else is with your family.

You say nothing anyone can do.

I just want to say, Amy has had 38 years of love and care, and you and your family will continue doing that.

Thanks Clive,I can’t lie it does give me an incredible buzz when professors and scientists are asking my wife questions and parents of children born today with the same syndrome are seeking her advice.
She helps parents all over the world.
