Thanks a lot, this all sounds like great advice. I’ll take my time and go the long way on this I think, the sanding will be a nightmare but it appears it’s the best way to go.

Why dont you buy new and bang them out and replace, much easier? better finish and you can spend more tin on your dildo?

My listed mansion won’t quite suit new as everything else is antique, but thanks for your input and I’ll get my servants on to your suggestions. Meanwhile, I’ve got some fine sandpaper now and hope to start tomorrow.
