Dj Audit

I look at it this way, that's all the person with a camera is doing, is sharing what they can see . Like you can look at something, and what you see is stored in your memory, but share what you see, and there seems to be outrage.

I can only imagine that any business that does not like this, are most probably doing something wrong, or perhaps fear they could be doing something wrong, it's like what they said when cctv cameras were introduced back in the 90's, if you are doing nothing wrong, then you have nothing to worry about.
If I was a business owner and one these weirdos wanted to "audit" me, I'd have no problem with it.

If he were to do the right thing and contact the business prior to his arrival it would show his efforts were genuine. The fact he just randomly turns up and starts wandering around without invite tells me he is there just to wind people up and record their reactions to make them look bad.

His minions love this type of thing, they need to take up a hobby instead of sitting at home wanking to shit like this and actually positively contribute to society.

I think the whole point of these audits, is to catch business unaware. Granted he does wind people up, but it's interesting to see peoples reactions, all jokes aside in real life how would anyone deal with a situation like this? Is it acceptable to mount a pavement in your car and then chase a man through the streets, or is the better thing just to ignore him? In the eyes of the law he has done nothing wrong, is it worth having a criminal conviction, because someone is showing your business?

We have people like trading standards for that type of thing. We don't need twats with cameras taking it upon themselves to become some sort of social warrior that none of us have asked for.

Send me your address and I'll pop over and audit you. If you're not doing anything wrong, you won't mind 👍🏻

What sort of thing does he “audit”?
He / they don’t audit anything in the true sense of the word. He just flies a drone over the top of businesses, and films the employees / managers / security on hand held camera or body cam.

When said managers / employees tell him not to do it, he gets clever with them about the different laws and regulations over filming, and tells them to get back to work or other such phrases. Cocks the lot of them.

Imagine people like this actually focused their efforts on catching businesses doing things they shouldn't, ignoring regulations, etc? They'd actually be doing some good in the world then (like the ones Sham mentioned earlier in the thread), but there's less clicks and therefore money in that kind of thing, not to mention it actually involves doing some work.

Saw only the end (couldn’t be bothered to watch it all).

So he gets chased and scarpers into another business premise where he proceeds to run around opening a fire exit in the process, then runs along a railway line, and it's pretty clear that for most of this palaver he wasn't even being pursued.

Absolute bam pot.

He's like Duncan Norvell.

"Chase me, chase me".

Reflecting on some of the comments, I can see where you are coming from, although I find the interactions between the you tuber and public quite interesting, of course I will admit if somebody rocked up and started filming me, I would not like it.

I have never liked cycling mikeys style he basically films into stationary cars to see if they are holding a phone, just to report them, and also get in a confrontation with them, to tell them they are getting points and a fine, now I'm surprised he has not been assaulted.

I would guess the law needs to change, to stop all this, it's understandable the way the law is regarding filming in public, but obviously it's been shown that some people are abusing that for monetary gain.

Personally, I’ve got no time for car drivers that use their phones when they’re behind the wheel, when stationary in queuing traffic or not. I can see why people get mad at that mind, as it’s a fine line between using a mobile and using the screen on a modern car.

I'm completely with you on this. The amount of people I've seen using their phones on the motorway is quite staggering. They've even had children in the back of the car upon times.

There is no excuse for it with the technology on a lot of cars these days and voice control things like Siri.

The one thing I enjoy about being in the car is the fact my phone is locked and put away for the duration of my journey.

My honest opinion on committing an offence when using a mobile whilst stationary, it's an absolute load of bollox, you could sit there in a traffic jam eating fish and chips, or reading a book, but dare to pick your phone up and it's deemed you have committed an offence. It's bloody impossible to do any harm to anybody whilst not moving.

Understandable the offence if you are driving, but sat in a traffic jam for ten minutes plus, and to think picking your phone up could cost you 6 points, is absolute lunacy.

How did people manage to drive before they had a mobile phone to stare into?
