• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

There’s currently a huge row going on in Baglan because the rugby club want to fence off the pitch to stop dog walkers and quite a few residents are going radio rental over it.
In the meantime I’ve just seen photos on social media of a youngster at Trebanos RFC who played with a cut on his leg and there was dog shít on the pitch.
The dog owner should be put to sleep, dirty c*nts. 🤬

Iesu Mawr Darran! Should probably put a warning on your post not to scroll down if you're squeamish.

We have loads of dogs in the family, but a sports field is for playing sports on, not exercising your dogs. It's a shame that 1 rubbish dog owner will ruin it for everyone, but the fence should go up and those complaining should be shown these photos. I know it happened at a different pitch, but that's what can happen.

Hope the lad in question is recovering.

It’s a point worth making .
Being now the proud owners of a very boisterous dog ,we pride ourselves in training it properly ,socialising and having good manners. That means no jumping up at strangers, especially children and the constant need to watch when the dog craps. No excuses. It’s part and parcel of dog ownership .
People aren’t keen to be confronted ,funnily enough, when it is pointed out to them their dog has just shat on a bowling Green ,for instance .

Everyone should confront these people at every opportunity

If it was an organised match then the coaches/ref need a bollocking, they have a duty of care to check the pitch before anyone kicks a ball.

Further to that, an individuals home should be checked before they are allowed to buy a dog.

If you can't keep your house clean then im 99% sure you can't pick up a dogs turd.
