Michael Duff has hit back at critics of his style of play after a winless first seven games in charge at Swansea City. Fans have recognised the big change in terms of football style with the Swans moving towards a mote direct style in comparison to what we’ve seen in the past. But Duff, who admits...

“The supporters don’t understand that”
😂😂😂
Apprently it’s petulant according to one poster to “pick apart” what duff says, well when he says things like he doesn’t care what we think, and we don’t understand anything, I’m happy to be labelled petulant 👍

I’m convinced that he’s had enough and wants to be sacked. Either that or he’s even more stupid than I thought he was. I suspect that the attendance will be down on Saturday but if he keeps this up people will go just to give him the reception he deserves.

This clown should be fed to the dogs.

Regarding attendance, I just saw that Wednesday are bringing just shy of 2k down here, the full allocation, so I’m hoping we have a good attendance and people should voice how they feel, I don’t wish for that to be honest, I don’t think toxic atmosphere is what is wanted, but could reluctantly be needed.

I think there’s more at stake here than the result of one game. There needs to be a line drawn in the sand. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so strongly about a manager, even Bobbly. Perhaps more worrying than Duff himself is the direction of travel the Americans appear to have planned for us. I know some fans seem to have a pathological hatred of passing football, but I think they’re a very small minority. If the owners push on with this change in philosophy this club could sink like a stone.

Evolve back to the 1950s clogging? If he thinks we need to go back to that nonsense he's at the wrong club. Almost every single fan would happily go back to a 451/433 style which we had for years since martinez was here.

This idiot is clearly just another cardboard cutout any guy. You need to be different to be successful. Get rid of this patronising tool

Yeah I think it’s a ringing endorsement, in irony, that he has in fact united a fan base in wanting him gone 😂
I agree too about the one game predicament, even if we win, people will say it was against Sheffield Wednesday who are also at the crap end of what’s happening in the division, I can’t personally see that time and patience is a virtue with him in charge, we’ve played just under a quarter of league fixtures, it’s only September, and we can all see it’s not going to work out in the long haul whatsoever, I’ve got no agenda or hate towards Duff, it’s not solely down to him, but obviously a portion of it has to lay at his doorstep, and I think from my pov anyway we need to act on it, I don’t think ridding him is irrational, as let’s be honest he has only had a very short period, and it seems to be irrational, but at the moment, giving him time, how much time is enough? It’s not only the amount of points on the board, or the winless streak, that wouldn’t be popular alone, but coupled with how he’s going about task and what he’s saying, it’s just not going to be great if by Christmas, he’s still here and we’re still struggling.

I know it's contrary, but we still have to see what happens on the pitch and play this out a bit longer. Do I expect improvement? Not really, but the atmosphere needs to stay positive to give the new and old guys a chance. Sacking anybody after 7 or 8 games is extreme, and unlikely to encourage anyone decent to want to come. People talk about Forest but they'd given Hughton the previous season I think, before deciding it wasn't working. West Ham must have nearly sacked Moyes 10 times, now they seem happy.

I'm writing this and I just know I'll likely be saying on Saturday night 'just get the f****r gone'.

I don’t think it’s contrary, I think it’s all we have, I’m contradicting myself there to be fair, as I’m airing percentage wise to get him out, however, I still think it’s too early, but there is where the quandary is I guess, how much time is time, this isn’t an easy decision, it’s easy for anyone to sit on a forum and say what we think and feel, but not easy for the powers that be to make an absolute final decision this early in the season.
