Proper old school comedy, none of that stuff is made today, Tv is full of fecking game shows soaps and Vera

Some laugh out loud moments amongst bizarre stuff only Enfield can come up with.

I wonder how many under a certain age would be scratching their heads if they did watch it.

Raised by Dingoes 🤣😂🤣😂

None of that stuff is made today apart from that one you just watched.

Even though it was a spoof documentary, I wonder how many realise "sticky back plastic" was used on Blue Peter instead of "sellotape"

I get it when they say stuff like On the Buses and Alf Garnett isn't made these days (thankfully as far as I'm concerned), but Enfield and Whitehouse are strange ones to pick. They're on TV all the time.

I imagine the old fogeys on here will tut tut at such modern nonsense, but the fourth series of What We Do in the Shadows is going to be on Disney+ from November 2nd. The first 3 series were on BBC2, so are all on iplayer if anyone wants to laugh a lot. If they have a sense of humour of course...

Wouldn't be too sure about the "many under a certain age" comment.

My son and his partner, both 24, recently watched every single "Fast Show" and my son's cousin, my bro's lad who is 25, is often quoting Fast Show sketches when we're all together which is one of the reasons they wanted to catch up. Can't get enough of it. 😂😂😂

Yep. If something is still funny and hasn't aged badly, the younger generations will enjoy it.

It's why Fawlty Towers and Only Fools are still popular. While others that we may look back on with rose-tinted glasses, but weren't really very good, have faded into obscurity.

Except that's a millions miles from todays normal viewing and a one off, Mortimer and Whitehouse Go Fishing is pure class though, very enjoyable whether you like fishing or not.

I'm only nearly 62 mun, I'm just out of my teenage yrs, :D On the Buses was a tidy enough watch bit smutty and suggestive I suppose, there's still re-runs of that, time has moved on though I agree, never heard of What we do in the shadows though, gimme me an insight into it, to get me intrigued :D

4 fairly useless vampires who live on Staten Island in New York, Matt Berry's in it, it's done in mockumentary style and it's based on Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement's film of the same name (Clement also created the TV show).

It's hilarious, but all comedy is subjective and so on. I'd say if you get as far as episode 3 with the werewolves and you're not enjoying, it's probably not for you.
