I hold up my hands and eat my words on Eom.

I thought he was a fraud, too lightweight, without any end product.

But recently he’s just shown that his natural ability just was being stifled by previous managers.

His last 2 games have been excellent - caused opposition defenders all sorts of problems, creating chances, and has looked hungry in the tackle too.

I know it’s only 2 games but it looks like he’s turning into the player we all hoped he could be.

I thought he was very poor in the first half last night. Better second half, but his set pieces were still sub standard. He gets bullied off the ball far too easily for me.

He was great on Saturday and not as good last night but still better than normal.
Inconsistency is a problem for many of our players.

Agree with JB - too inconsistent for me, but good enough to be in the team more often than not for a mid table Championship club. Needs more output - goals and assists to be any better than that IMO

Saturday - outstanding
Tuesday - better than normal, and did well. Not up to Saturday's standard.

We need to assess the opposition to decide when he plays. An over physical team and he can't compete. Stoke is a no-no for me, rest him until the Wrectum game.

I think he’s always had something about him but has been inconsistent like a lot of players. Started last season well enough and was excellent in the last few games when Sheehan took over (I think that’s still been his best form for us.)

His injury in preseason probably didn’t help and then he’s been in and out of a team low on confidence.

He needs a real run to show what he can do, he’s got the ability!

He is lightweight. No two ways about it. I think his dead ball delivery is quite a bit better than his live ball delivery. Technically though when he's on his game he's one of the top players at the club for me.

Seems to very much be a confidence player. Did well at the tail end of last season but not so much at the start of this one. A bit like the team in general.

He looks like he might actually do something dangerous. I’m much happier when he gets the ball than Ronald.

I have liked Eom from the start. See a lot of potential, but needed to work on a lot of things. I still thinks he can be more stronger and isn't consistent enough to have 2 back to back games at a high level. But both him and Franco seem to be liking Matos new method. Both are closing players down fast and adding more creativity. I'll give him a break for last night as it was going to be difficult. But he needs to show up on Saturday again.
