What really is the point of live tv of Liverpool v Accrington and Man City v Salford ?

Prem kids v sides with little or no hope of winning

Palace v Stockport could be the magical upset.. oh and us 🦢😅

Leeds v Harrogate is a good watch on BBC red button

Agree with this. If both away sides had been at home it would have added a bit of jeopardy. The TV choices for the third round have been odd to say the least.

So what’s the deal with the FA cup these days - Is it extra time and pens or a replay?

I think they have done away with replays now, and basically everything else that once made the FA Cup worth watching...
Aye, screw the smaller clubs that keep afloat due to the glamour ties of the FA Cup.

It's hardly surprising it is up there with the league cup these days.

I still love the FA Cup and the crowds this weekend so far have been pretty good. But I still don’t understand why the two big terrestrial TV channels, both of which hardly ever get live football outside of the World Cup and the euros, decided that Liverpool v Accrington Stanley and Man City v Salford would set the nation’s pulses racing.

Watched Bournemouth and Brighton destroying championship teams. West Brom and Norwich looked like league 2 teams up against them. The pace and power premier league teams have these days is frightening. Bournemouth went from one end of the field to the other to score one goal. Can you imagine us breaking out from defence? Would have got to half way and slowed it down , looking for a sideways or backwards pass to Grimes.

Duff’s team and set-up did just that - esp vs Plymouth.
Duff played to our strengths not weaknesses.
Matty played his natural best under Duff, as did Key et al….

A Duff type was the perfect antidote to bonkers Martinwangball.

We need a similarly new, new reset from bonkers Willywangball, ‘prompto’…..

Birmingham City 🏈 v Swansea City 🦢
