If anyone else suffers and take a remedy that helps/works, please post it,
I'm 64 next month, been told that there's a 7+wait to have them done unless you can't walk. One of the boys in work just had a knee replacement, he’s only 54. Get in and get them sorted.
You haven’t got private health care through your employer then? I’d urge anyone who has the option of even discounted private health care to get it.I'm 64 next month, been told that there's a 7+wait to have them done unless you can't walk.
Not with this lot no, they just contractors to the larger companies, spent three days last week sitting down with a computer in front of me doing a training course dear me I was glad to be back on the tools Thursday and Friday plus those three days didn't help my joints had a hot water bottle on the bottom left hand side of my back Wednesday the discomfort was like toothache. You haven’t got private health care through your employer then? My right knee has been literally crumbling since a car accident when I was 17. It’s got pins holding it together and creaks and scrapes audibly enough for people to hear it. My left is only marginally better after a dislocation in my 20s. I’m 53 now. So I know a bit about knee pain and my best advice is that you get used to it, and keep active. I'll ask the question, but we don't even get sick pay just the statutory sick pay, the wages are a fair bit higher than the engineers working for the companies we contract to, but don't get the benefits they get.You haven’t got private health care through your employer then?
