• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The Wife has now ripped the menu up, and said we are not getting anything from there again, mine was ok, but yeah she did have a point, it looked watery as hell.

No problem mate 👍

As it happens we had a curry from over there tonight too, not great, found two small bones in the chicken with my Tikka Masala.
Will be giving it a swerve from now on J123

Sorry about that, it did honestly start off really nice..But no, the menus ripped up now, I just wish I'd advised you sooner.

Ahh well never mind, in the bin now 😥

Gutted mush to be honest, I love a decent takeaway, but no way can you eat that crap, we have had it a few times, the chips are horrific, ok you give them the benefit of the doubt, and think right the kents can't cook chips, so you have rice instead, and they still ferk it up then they deliver a gnats piss Korma to the missis.

I can't understand why any Indian restaurant would serve tripe, at the end of the day, there's a massive market for takeaway food. Surely it can't be that hard, just to get it right?
.

I have always found it difficult to find a good Indian takeaway around here. Indian restaurants? No problem, plenty of good ones around Swansea and ordering a meal for pickup is probably the best option. But finding a good one who'll deliver has always been a pain. Will have a good meal once, then it will be poor the next time I use them.

As opposed to Chinese takeaways, never have a problem finding a good one of those.

As a side note, sketty packed meals on my doorstep...best Chinese takeaway bar none.

Mrs and I had a Curry at Panchees by the Grand a few weeks back, I fancied a change from my usual choice of curry and plucked for a Russian Balti Mix after advice from the nice chap who run's the place, very nice it was to, since had it as a takeaway as well, slightly hotter than a Jalfrezi but not to bad.

Sketty snooker/social club started doing a takeaway menu. Have heard excellent things bout it.
